The Manager of the Universidad de Granada, in the various campuses of Ceuta, Granada and Melilla, is immediately responsible for the organisation of the financial and administrative departments of the University, in accordance with the guidelines set by its governing bodies. He is nominated and appointed by the Rector, with the agreement of the Social Council, and may manage the administration and maintenance staff on behalf of the Rector.

The management department and the corresponding deputy managers' offices, departments and divisions plan, organise, carry out and monitor the organisation's operations and activities that, through the coordination, training and evaluation of administration and maintenance staff human resources, planning and monitoring of finances and purchasing of essential material resources, allow the objectives set by the Institution to be achieved as effectively and efficiently as possible.
